What is the difference between windows 7 genuine version and OEM version?

"I think the difference is that OEM comes preinstalled on your laptop (and is cheaper because you are getting a deal by purchasing a laptop with Window 7 already on it). The OEM version of Windows is permanently tied to that computer and cannot be transferred to another PC.

The full retail version is purchased from Microsoft or a reputable retailer (ie: Best Buy) and can used on any PC (but only ONE computer).

Genuine Windows applies to both the OEM version and the full retail version. It is a way to make sure that the copy of Windows 7 is a genuine Microsoft products and not a bootlegged copy".
But one thing about windows 8 has not been released yet, in fact it won't be released until 2012, it will only support 64 bit cpu's (and maybe 128 bit or more)

so you microsoft people better start saving your money from now..!
